Gregory Platt has a passion for hair and loves to transform hair, making everyone leaving his chair feel great with their fantastic new look. He loves to do and excels in everything from color corrections to platinum blonde to cool men's cuts. Gregory has an 18 year background in design and retail management. He has decorated homes, as well as decorating for weddings, parties, corporate events, retail shops and style shows.
Kevin started hair school at 18 and fell in love with coloring, cutting and styling hair but found he excelled at and most loved blonding. During his time as a student, he would attend competitive hair shows in California to hone his skills in the hair industry and won 1st place in most of the challenges. After graduating from school, he continued his studies and worked at The Paul Mitchell Salon in California. Kevin opened his first salon in Olympia, WA while still traveling back and forth to Paul Mitchell in CA for 10 years. Kevin took part of 2011 off to open Salon Nouveau Yelm in 2012 with co-owner and salon manager Gregory Platt.
Yelm is Ambers home town. She started beauty school at age 16, as a graduate of Yelm High School. Amber has been doing hair in Yelm for 9 plus years. In 2007, 3 years after graduating she was voted Best Hair Stylist in Nisqually. Since then, Amber has been a leading figure in the industry. She has a very strong passion for hair and loves working with people. With a keen eye on the latest trends, Amber keeps up to date with sizzling hot new trends. When she is not at the salon making hair perfection, she loves spending time with her family and friends and working in and around her home .Being a hair stylist isn’t just a job it’s her passion, her love, and her drive at perfection!
Sharee is a licensed esthetician who recently moved to Washington from Columbia, South Carolina with her husband who is in the Army. She enjoys outdoor activities including horseback riding and going to the beach. Both Sharee and her husband are animal lovers and have 3 small dogs and a variety of reptiles. They both enjoy the military lifestyle, experiencing new places and new opportunities. Sharee graduated from the International Beauty Academy in Colorado Springs in 2004 and has been practicing esthetics for over 12 years and is licensed in both Washington and Oklahoma. She is trained in all areas of skin care from basic facials, waxing,and microdermabrasion, to chemical resurfacing treatments and laser aesthetic treatments and Coolsculpting. Sharee enjoys doing laser hair removal, and educating clients on how to take care of their skin.
Tammy was born and raised in California. She moved to Washington with her husband and two children in 2015. Tammy currently holds a cosmetology license in both Washington and California, and has been working in the industry for 18 years. While living in California, Tammy taught cosmetology at Riverside Community College for over 10 years. She loves working with people and helping them achieve their cosmetic goals. Tammy and her family love animals and breed, raise and show Australian Shepherd dogs. When not working you can find her with her animals or at a dog show.
Petra is the owner of Naturally Beautiful, a European skin care business located at Salon Nouveau. Before relocating to Yelm WA in 1993 she served a one year apprentice ship and two years as an esthetician in Munster Germany at one of the oldest and most respected places in Germany for skin care. Later she worked as an esthetician in various places in Germany and the USA. She offers custom treatment facials, body wraps, scrubs, waxing, lash and brastint and make up. She is proud to use Pevonia Botanica as her skincare line.
